Some stories spend years pretending to be friendships.

Muskan and Gaurav had known each other since school, long before anyone imagined this day. They were the kind of friends who never really had to force conversation. Then the world slowed down during the lockdown, and somewhere between endless calls, shared routines, and ordinary days, friendship quietly became something neither of them could ignore.

Gaurav was the first to realise it. Muskan took a little longer, but when she did, she loved with the same certainty he had felt all along. Looking back now, it feels less like they fell in love and more like they finally caught up with a story that had been waiting for them.

They're different in all the familiar ways. Gaurav can fill a room with conversation before anyone else has settled in. Muskan is happiest listening, smiling, and letting everyone else have the spotlight. Somehow, those differences never pulled them apart. They became the rhythm of everything they built together.

Their wedding wasn't the beginning of their story. It was the celebration of years spent growing side by side, until saying "yes" simply felt like the most natural next chapter.
