Most people walk away from their own shaadi with a handful of moments and a strange feeling that the rest went by too fast. That gap is the whole reason we exist.
Our story
Hi, I’m Muskan, the founder of Uncut Shaadi.
The idea of starting a wedding content creation page popped into my head after my sister’s wedding in March 2024. Like every excited sister, I had saved hundreds of Instagram reels that I wanted to recreate. But once the celebrations began, there was simply no time. Everything was beautifully chaotic, and by the end of the wedding, I had managed to create just one reel. Looking back, I realized how much we needed someone whose only job was to capture all those candid, behind-the-scenes moments without taking the family away from the celebrations.
Life moved on, and so did the idea for a while.
I’ve always loved creating content for my own social media, and making videos has always been something I genuinely enjoyed. Then one day, my cousin asked me to create content for her engagement, and that one event became the beginning of Uncut Shaadi.
Surprisingly, choosing the name was the easiest part. My vision was simple, I didn’t just want to record the perfectly posed moments. I wanted to capture the laughter between rituals, the happy tears, the stolen glances, the inside jokes, and all the beautiful, unfiltered memories that often go unnoticed. That’s exactly why it’s called Uncut Shaadi.
The journey wasn’t without its challenges. I’m also a CA student, so in the beginning, balancing studies and weddings meant I could only take on a limited number of events. But with time, things started falling into place. Today, I have a wonderful team that helps me handle the beautiful chaos of weddings while making sure every little moment is captured.
Building Uncut Shaadi hasn’t always been easy, but seeing our couples relive their happiest memories through our content makes every late night, every challenge, and every bit of hard work worth it.
Because at the end of the day, we don’t just create reels, we preserve moments that you’ll want to relive forever.
What we believe about a wedding.
A wedding is not one event. It is a week of small ones. The nervous laugh before the varmala, your father pretending he isn't crying, the cousins who never sit down. We follow all of it, quietly, so you don't have to choose which parts to keep.
Uncut, on purpose
We call it Uncut Shaadi because the best things rarely happen on cue. We would rather catch the real, slightly messy version than stage a perfect one. The polish comes later, in the edit, never at the cost of the moment.
Story first, always
Every couple gets an episode, not a highlight reel with your names on it. The music, the pace, the order, all of it is built around your day. If it could belong to any other couple, we haven't done our job.
